This is our collection of
divorce information and links to all of the states. Each link leads to
an area of this web site which is devoted to the divorce law of that
particular state.
All states permit some form of "no fault" divorce.
Some states such as New York, and North Carolina, are restrictive in their
laws, limiting it to such cases as where there has been a previous judicial
separation, where the parties have been living separate for a specified time
or mutual consent decrees. Most states, however, make it easy to obtain a
divorce through the irreconcilable difference type standard. States in BOLD
indicate that we have a state-specific divorce kit for that state. Marital
Separation Agreement Kits are available for all states.
If you want to be notified when your state divorce forms kits will be
published, or receive updates to divorce law in your state, please insert
